- Too subtle or too cartoonish? Move "Custom pitch" between +3 and +6 and press "Apply pitch".

What the effect does
Commonly cited speaking-pitch ranges are about 85–180 Hz for adult men and 165–255 Hz for adult women. The preset raises your pitch by four semitones (about 26% higher in frequency) while keeping your timing, then trims some low-mid body and lifts presence so the voice sounds lighter.
Pitch is only part of what makes a voice sound female. Resonance (the size of the vocal tract), breathiness and melody matter as much, which is why a pitch shift alone above +6 semitones starts to sound like a cartoon rather than a person.
Tips for a natural result
Speak a little softer and with more rise and fall than usual, keep the mic close, and avoid booming chest voice. Try +3 semitones for a subtle change and +5 for a clearly higher voice.
Use it fairly
These are sound effects, not voice cloning. Do not use them to impersonate someone or to deceive people, and only process other people's recordings with their permission.
Questions
Is my audio uploaded anywhere?
No. The file is decoded, processed and encoded by your own browser using the Web Audio API. Nothing is sent to a server, which is also why it works on large files without a queue.
How many semitones should I shift for a female voice?
Three to five semitones sounds most natural for most adult male voices. Beyond six, the voice usually sounds chipmunk-like because the resonances shift along with the pitch.
Can I use it live on Discord or Zoom?
No. This tool changes recordings and files. Live voice changing in calls needs a virtual audio driver installed on your computer.
Is this an AI voice changer?
No. It uses classic signal processing (pitch shifting and filtering), so it is instant, free and works offline once the page has loaded. It cannot imitate a specific real person.
